Call a local small business like Delco Alarm Systems – a family-owned business which has served Delaware County for more than four decades.
How many times have you called a large company only to be stuck in an automated phone system nightmare? Local companies, for the most part, have employees on hand to answer your questions or schedule a service.
Better customer service is also a hallmark of small businesses.
How many times have you called a large company for service only to be told there will be a lengthy wait.
The folks at Delco Alarm Systems recently received a call from a local homeowner seeking service for a problem with his burglar and fire alarm systems. The big-brand company he was under contract with could not schedule a service call for weeks. Employees at Delco Alarms were able to provide service within two days, giving the homeowner much needed peace of mind.
Some people believe small businesses are more expensive, but that’s not the case. The price of many products are set by vendors, not the small business.
Small businesses are also able to provide more personalized service. Have a busy schedule that makes scheduling a service call difficult? A local business can more easily adapt to your particular circumstances.
When you hire a local business, you know who you are dealing with.

Patronizing a local business such as Delco Alarm Systems enriches your community by providing jobs and reinvesting revenue locally.
“Shopping small has a really big impact on the U.S. economy,” Steven Dixel, Acting Director, U.S. Small Business Administration Eastern Pennsylvania District said.
According to Dixel, small businesses are critical to our nation’s economy. Supporting them means supporting the local community, he added.

Founded in 1972 by the late Donald L. Culp, Delco Alarm Systems was named after the county in which Culp and his family resided.
