Impact of Rising material and Labor Costs.
Global supply chain issues have impacted nearly all consumer goods, from cars to cat litter. Security and fire protection companies, like Delco Alarm Systems, are no exception. For sometime now, we have been experiencing delays receiving parts and equipment. Fire system parts, for example, are particularly hard to come by. In some cases, parts are back-ordered without any promises of availability. In those cases, we look for appropriate alternative equipment to allow us to complete a job.
Inflation is adding to the problem. Rising material, labor and fuel costs are making it difficult to keep price increases down. While some security companies are hiking prices on everything from door contacts to monthly maintenance fees, Delco Alarm Systems is working to keep prices stable. Some increases, such as the price we are charged for parts and equipment, are inevitable. But for Delco Alarm Systems, our customers are our main priority.
With no definitive answer as to when the supply chain crisis will subside and the cost of goods stabilize, some price increases are inevitable. However we are doing our best to keep cost
increases to a minimum.
To our valuable customers, we ask for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. We are working to keep costs down and at the same time expedite parts needed for our work.
